I thought this App would help me to convert "Cup " to " gram". But thats not possible. So, no use for me at all-:(

Great app for cooking when recipe apps dont offer the conversion feature. It would be nice if it could rotate to a horizontal view. I use an iPad on its side when cooking. Oh as crazy as it may sound a grams to cups conversion as an approximation would be nice.

The whole reason I purchased this app was to convert tbl spoons, cups, and teaspoons to grams... oh well... please accept my money ;) .

What I love about this app is that you can enter amounts in fractions such as 2 1/2 cups . This is a MUST HAVE feature that I have not seen in any other unit converter. Good job!

Ive been looking for a tool like the kitchen calculator and its finally available. I often look at foreign recipes and Ive always spent a lot of time trying to convert the various measurements. Now, all I have to do is select the unit I want to convert and the unit I need, and it immediately converts it. I just love it and its so easy to use! For those who want to make their life easier in the kitchen, here is your tool!

Sick of not knowing how to calculate one form of measurement to another? This baby here is a miracle worker. It takes the problem out of your hands and into the Kitchen Calculators hands. You just select a unit (type of measurement), then convert it to whatever other unit you need. Saves so much time, and makes cooking a whole lot easier and stress free. Its a smart and simple app that Im glad Juan Baurin came up with. Nice job. :)

Very convenient for home use and use in proffesional kitchens alike.

I like this ap. i would just like to be able to be able to double measurements to see how much it comes to. it only lets you go from cups to gallons or tablespoons to cups. Id like to be able to find out say what 3/4 cups times 2 equals. I am measurement challenged!

We travel to Europe often and have a collection of recipes that need conversion. I was tired of using a calculator to convert measurements. This is pure genius!

Ive used this app more times than I can remember! Ive used it to avoid medical mistakes by converting my daughters weight from pounds to kilograms. Ive used it to tell my Aussie friend how many kilometers my place was from his because he still cant figure it out in miles. Ive used it when Im cooking & need to reduce a recipe or increase the number of servings. Ive even used it to figure out how much paint Id need to paint my house! Its really easy to use & even more useful than I ever wouldve thought!

Id started using food & exercise journal app (Lose It), and needed help converting amounts of various food items (ounces to/from cups or tablespoons). I also have a bunch of recipes that use metric, and wanted to convert them to use here in the States. I looked at others apps, but none of them had the ease of use that Kitchen Calculator does! (I only wish this had been around 15 years ago, when I tried to make brownies in Germany - I didnt convert things right and ended up with fudgey goo!)

If it had a caculator it would be 5 stars maby a recipe caculator whare you type a recepe and select the units and I dose it all for you that would save me a lot of time in the kitchen Im a Chef and I need to move fast if Im going to make my deadlines but over all good quality Chef Ivan Adams...

I love this application. Just what Ive been looking for to get the right measurements for my recipes. The graphics are self-explanatory and intuitive. A must for anyone who enjoys cooking.

This is a "Must Have" if kitchen measurement conversions isnt your strong suit!

Maybe Im foolish for wanting this, but perhaps a volume to weight conversion. I know, it sometimes may depend on the material. But, something along the lines of 3 tsp to 1 tbsp to 1/2 oz to 14 grams would be nice to calculate on the fly. This was what I was looking for when I bought the app. If you are too, then its not for you.

It really needs to be able to convert tablespoons to ounces. You cant convert liquids to solids even though recipes call for solid measuring devices for liquids. One could only hope they read this and add this feature.

It converts but the PRO version does the important serving calculations too
